On August 29, 2022, Prof. Dr. Irina Dovbischuk and Prof. Dr. Dirk Sackmann, together with Dr. Boonsub Panichakarn and Mr. Vechavat Nitheekulawatn, were warmly welcomed by H.E. Academician Dr. Sok Touch, President of the Royal Academy of Cambodia. The delegation was accompanied by H.E. Dr. Yang Peou (Secretary General of the Royal Academy of Cambodia), H.E. Mr. Sout Sam Nang (Deputy Secretary General), H.E. Dr. Khek Virak (Director of the Cabinet Office), Dr. Sam Aung Vong (Assistant to the President).

During the meeting, the President emphasized the importance of international collaboration for the Royal Academy and shared ideas on how cooperation with AGKN could be strengthened in the future. Both sides agreed that the next step would be the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prof. Dr. Hans-Dietrich Haasis, Chairman of the AGKN Management Board.

Following the discussion, H.E. Academician Dr. Sok Touch personally guided the AGKN delegation on a tour of the campus, showcasing the new practical and theoretical training facilities at the Royal Academy of Cambodia.
