Based on the agreement between the National Economics University (NEU) and AGKN e.V., both institutions are committed to the shared mission of “Developing human resources in service logistics in line with the sustainable economic development of Vietnam.” The objective of this two-year research project is to propose a framework for transferring best practices in logisticsto support Vietnam’s long-term development goals.

The research team at NEU is led by Prof. Dang Dinh Dao, a senior lecturer at the Institute of International Trade and Logistics. The German research team is represented by Prof. Dr. Hans-Dietrich Haasis and Dr. Irina Dovbischuk. The interim results of the first project year were presented and discussed at the International Conference titled “International Integration: Training and Developing Logistics Human Resources in Vietnam”, held on 14 December 2018. The Vietnamese side applied for financial support from the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training to implement research activities.
