With the aim of creating a platform for scientists, managers, diplomats, and business leaders from universities, research institutes, ministries, embassies, and related industries in Vietnam and internationally, Thuongmai University, in collaboration with the Institute for Southeast, West, and African Studies (ISAWAAS) under the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences and several embassies of Islamic countries in Hanoi, is pleased to co-organize the International Scientific Conference on the theme: “The Development of Vietnam’s Halal Economy and Trade in the Current Context”.
The Organizing Committee cordially invites scientists, experts, and managers to submit papers for presentation at the conference. Submissions should focus primarily on, but are not limited to, the following topics:
- Theoretical foundations of Halal economy and trade
(e.g., perspectives, models, criteria, necessity, and enabling conditions) - Global trends and international experiences in Halal economy development, and lessons for Vietnam
- Institutions, strategies, and policies of the Party and State; strategies, plans, and programs of ministries, sectors, and localities in Vietnam for opening up the Halal market to integrate into the global economy and achieve sustainable development
- Current situation of the development of the Halal economic and trade ecosystem in Vietnam
- Solutions for developing the Halal economic and trade ecosystem
PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES
Accepted papers will be published in the International Conference Proceedings with an ISBN.
